"Oatmeal soup recipe: A comforting treat for chilly days"

Looking for a warm, comforting meal to warm you up on chilly days? Try our delicious oatmeal soup recipe. Simple to prepare and full of flavor, this soup is a real treat for the taste buds. Find out how to concoct it step by step :


1 knob butter
1 onion, cut into small pieces
1 carrot, washed, peeled and grated
Black pepper and turmeric, to taste
3 large glasses of milk
Approx. 5 tablespoons rolled oats
Parsley, thyme or oregano, for garnish
Lemon juice, for seasoning


In a saucepan, melt a knob of butter over medium heat.
Add the chopped onions and stir until translucent.
Add the grated carrots to the pan and mix well.
Season to taste with black pepper and turmeric.
Pour about three large glasses of milk into the saucepan, to cover everything, and simmer over a low heat.
Add the oats to the mixture and stir.
Leave to simmer until the soup thickens. If it's too thick, you can add a little water to achieve the desired consistency.
Garnish with parsley, thyme or oregano for extra flavor.
Season with a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
This oatmeal soup is a comforting and nutritious dish, perfect for chilly days.
