What's for breakfast?

What to eat for breakfast for an energetic day?

Breakfast is often considered the most important meal of the day, providing the energy you need to start the day on the right foot. But what should you include in your breakfast to ensure a day full of vitality and satisfaction?

1. Wholegrain cereals: Wholegrain bread is a great option to start your day. It's rich in complex carbohydrates, which provide a prolonged release of energy, keeping you fuller for longer. Opt for a slice of wholemeal bread accompanied by whole grains or rolled oats for a nourishing breakfast.

2. Protein: Protein is essential for maintaining satiety and supporting muscle growth. Eggs are a classic protein source for breakfast, but if that's not your cup of tea, consider other options such as cheese, yoghurt or milk. Protein can also come from plant sources such as oatmeal, quinoa or soy products.

3. Fresh fruit: Fruit is rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals, making it a perfect choice to round out your breakfast. Whether it's a sliced banana on your oatmeal or a handful of berries mixed into your yogurt, fruit adds a touch of freshness and sweetness to your morning meal.

4. Good fats: Don't be afraid to include healthy fats in your breakfast. Butter on wholemeal bread or sliced avocado on toast makes you feel full and satisfied. Healthy fats also help with the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, such as the vitamin D found in dairy products.

5. Beverages: Make sure you stay hydrated by including a refreshing beverage in your breakfast. Whether it's a glass of milk, fresh fruit juice or a cup of tea, drinks add variety and hydration to your meal.

In summary, a balanced breakfast should include whole grains, protein, fresh fruit, healthy fats and hydrating beverages.

Choose foods that suit you best and give you the energy you need to start the day on the right foot.
